PEP and sanctions database
A PEP and sanctions list you can defend to an auditor.
The Thai PEP list, AMLO’s designated persons and the UN Security Council list. Every source is kept as published, every change is recorded, and a PEP stops being returned 12 months after leaving their last post.

Not yet covered: the armed forces, PEPs’ family and close associates, foreign PEPs, and other international sanctions lists.
How the database stays current
An out-of-date list fails both ways. You miss someone you should stop, or you hold up a borrower who no longer counts.
Keep
Prove any edition is genuine
Each AMLO announcement and UN file is stored unedited, with its own fingerprint, before it is imported. Any edition can be checked against its original.
Check
A bad import never reaches your checks
Every import is previewed before use. Large removals are blocked, and nothing goes into service automatically.
Record
Every PEP change can be explained
Each addition, edit or departure is recorded with a reason and evidence, in a chain that can be verified end to end.
Stop reviewing people who left office years ago
A PEP stays a PEP for 12 months after leaving their last post. After that, they are no longer returned.
In office
Returned as a PEP
With the posts they hold.
Left, under 12 months
Still returned
From the recorded date they left their last post.
Left, over 12 months
No longer returned
A post entered in error is removed outright, with no 12-month window.
People don’t drop off by accident. Someone missing from a new source file is not removed, and leave dates are recorded, never guessed. Posts not re-checked within 180 days are flagged for review.
Answer the auditor from one screening ID
Every response tells you, list by list, whether it was checked. We also record which edition of each list was used. When an auditor asks why a borrower passed last month, we can show it from the screening ID. The record cannot be edited or deleted.
Questions
Which lists does TeraTec screen against?
Three: the Thai PEP list, the persons designated by AMLO, and the UN Security Council consolidated sanctions list.
Can we screen with only a borrower’s name?
Yes, with a first and last name. Send the Thai name for the Thai PEP list and the English name for the UN list. A date of birth or ID number sharpens the match.
When does someone stop counting as a PEP?
Twelve months after the recorded date they left their last post. After that, they are no longer returned.
What if a list can’t be checked?
The response says so for that list: checked, partly checked, or not checked, with the reason. If a list is unavailable, the call fails instead of returning an empty answer.
Does TeraTec decide whether to approve a borrower?
No. The API returns what matched and on which list. Your own credit and compliance policy decides what happens next.
Can we find out which edition of a list was used for a check?
Yes. We record the edition of each list used for every check, against its screening ID, and can provide it on request.
See the lists in a live demo.
30 minutes. We run your test names through the API and show you what each list returns.
